USPS International Return Address
Here's the United States Postal
Service manual for sending international
mail:
Outbound US International Mail
Today I confirmed something I've read
before. United States mail destined for
a foreign country should have the words
United States in the return address.
United States appears as the last
line of the return address.
In other words, you write the senders
address (your address) in the upper
left-hand corner of the envelope.
The only thing that you add, when sending
mail outside of the United States,
is one more line. The extra line, the
bottom line, consists of two words:
United States
